CLEMENTINE UPDATE: We didn’t post the exact results of any of her urine or blood tests because they are interpreted differently by everyone. Clementines results may be normal for her at this time, but not appear completely normal. Her urine test was inconclusive and we needed to make sure her kidney function was ok since her organs were shut down , so the test was repeated and it is normal for her at this time, no concerns. Her body is manufacturing its own red blood cells now and though not where they should be yet, it is normal for her and progressing tremendously. She still has some lameness in one of her hind legs, but that may be on and off forever or just get better with time. When palpated there is no pain. Remember she’s only been with us a short time and her progress is a miracle. Nothing short of astounding. She is happy and healthy and gaining weight and just an amazing dog. She will need consistent therapy probably for another month. Beyond that she will always need her legs exercised, but it doesn’t have to be in the form of controlled therapy like at the vet. She needs to remain active throughout her life and rest when she’s tired. We expect she will continue to get stronger and stronger. She got to spend some time with Ash in a secured, fenced in multiple acre friend’s farm, where she is completely safe with her foster siblings and foster humans. The clear creek that runs through the property is tested often so the owners animals can run in the water, this is the only water we allow Clementine to be in currently. She needs to start being a dog! Today she did what she loves on this warm day and fetched her ball in water for the first time in the creek and loved it! She was bathed right after so she is clean. Ash is a pro and knows what she’s doing. This is one of the happiest videos I have ever seen after knowing Clementine’s story. This is just amazing when less than 2 months ago she was as thin as a piece of paper lying flat, unable to walk. Imagine the fun she had today. Well deserved Clementine. Well played Ash. Watch the whole video as she poses in all her cuteness at the end. We are working on a second shirt, but they are difficult with tones and sizing and graphics, so as soon as the shirt company and our team have it figured out, we will post. It should be within another week or 2! She continues to give us all inspiration and show us how much she loves life and people and animals and is a fighter. We learn more from her every day. She definitely doesn’t sweat the small stuff.🐾✝️🙏✝️🙏🐾
