Update: his eye is healing! I got the opportunity to visit this sweet boy at the care center today, and this is what he looks like❤️He is located under the name, “Flint,” at the SCV Animal Care Center.

Pamela Abraham thank you for your comment! I was told by two animal care officers that they would treat his wound. I’m not sure if he received the wound in a fight with another animal, or if there was abuse involved. We found him as a stray on sierra highway. My boyfriend and I are going to visit him at the shelter this week❤️

Hi everyone, thank you for your kind comments! The dog is now named Isley within the Santa Clarita Valley Animal Care Center’s website. The last I checked, he did not have a microchip when checked by an emergency vet and the staff at the animal care center. I was affirmed by two animal care officers that they would treat his eye. I will be going either Friday or Saturday with my family to check on him❤️
