Hi, my name is Kaytlynn. I was out with my cat, Pamela, yesterday to make a short sunset hike to Horseshoe Falls and Swinging Bridge. Unfortunately she got spooked by something while I was getting our gear together. Pamela escaped from her hiking backpack, slipped out of her harness and into the wood line. I fell into a bunch of thorns chasing after her. Unless her collar broke away too, she should have that on her (It is purple). If anyone in the area is available and able to help me search for her, I would be eternally grateful. She is timid, but very sweet. I have placed food near the area, along with her blanket and shaken the food in the hopes to get her to come out, but no luck yet. She has been missing since about 8:30pm last night. Also, if anyone has a drone or heat scope that is able to help, that would be awesome too! Again, if anyone can help, I am still currently at Horseshoe Falls Trailhead. I am staying here until I find her. I am visiting from Oklahoma, so I am far from home and plan to stay in the area until I find her. Please and thank you 🫶
