Update on this little white dog we found: My husband and I brought him to the vet shortly after finding him. At the time, he was very weak, wasn't interested in eating or drinking, had fleas, matted fur, and was underweight. The vet estimated that he is around 1 year old and confirmed that he was not microchipped. We started him on flea treatment and enrolled him in a wellness plan so we could get him the care he needs while we continue trying to locate his owner. We have not microchipped him because we want to give any potential owner the opportunity to come forward first. The good news is that he is doing much better. He is now eating regularly, drinking water, following us around the house, wagging his tail, and getting stronger every day. We're very happy to see him recovering. We did see the PawBoost post for Teddy and are open to speaking with anyone who believes this may be their dog. We would just want to verify ownership through additional photos or other identifying information. In the meantime, we've been calling him Rocky since we found him near Rock Ave. Thank you to everyone who has shared posts, checked on him, and helped spread the word. We're continuing to keep an eye out for his family while making sure he's safe and cared for.

Having a dog is a big responsibility. It's like having a two-year-old toddler. If this careless owners cannot take care of hem the way he deserves to be taking care, why in the would you like to reunite this poor dog with someone who doesn't give a damn. Lacey, and cheap to do the right thing for him like microchip and license at the shelter rehom, this poor dog. So whoever adopts him, they they can take better care of him.The way he should be taking care of. I can only imagine if they have any kids how they're being taking care of.
