Hey guys my name is katie. so we found this baby yesterday I could not in good conscious leave her outside in this heat so I brought her in at first I made her some boiled chicken and rice. My friend bought her a small bag of dog food and a collar and leash so I can walk her. I cannot have her where I stay I do not have a job I cannot financially take care of her. I'm really really hoping that somebody sees her and claims her. She looks like she is taken care of clean ears clean teeth maybe a slight case of fleas or sand fleas maybe or whatever trimmed nails she's definitely had some training so she definitely has a home... I have posted all over Facebook in my area and the next town over... The shelter won't take her because I took her into my apmt and now they want a owner surrender fee and they're a shelter so I would really rather not put her there... The humane society doesn't actually have a shelter themselves, but I am in contact with the lady from the humane society. I have called the DS's office and they are having a animal control contact me. Will be taking her up to the local vet hosp tomorrow morning 7/9/26 to check if she is chipped. Outside of that we will be checking rescues if we cannot find her home.
