You can try:
Placing items with cat’s scent and your scent outside. They can track their scents up to a mile. Go out at night and walk a few blocks and alleys while shaking a treat bag and calling his name. Ask neighbors to check their garages and decks in case he’s hiding or stuck in a garage. Contact the chip company to report him lost. Ensure the phone number on file is correct. Hang flyers in area.Read More

Open a door after dusk and might be coming back at night trying to get in which is what most do. Indoor cats won’t go far. Have you check animal control? Go out as much as you can at night and early am that is when he she will come out. Don’t give up. Go to all neighbors and hand out a flyer. Check window wells and under grill covers. If you have a garage open it at dusk and the door leading into your home, my friend did this and after 7 days he walked back inside on his own. Have people check ring door bells. Don’t give upRead More
Be proactive. Cats that escape from indoors will most likely stay close by. They will go into hiding but come out at nighttime. Go out when it’s dark, or early morning around 5 am , use a flashlight and call out by name, look in bushes, under cars etc. Talk to your neighbors and get the flyers out , they are really helpful for those who won’t see your posts on the internet. Put out some clothing to attract the cat’s smell, if possible set up a Wi-Fi camera to monitor and if the cat comes- set a trap. The cat will try to find a food source so try setting up a food station and monitor. Report to your local police and if the cat is microchipped, make sure the info is up to date. I would also email or call shelters in case animal control picks it up. Check their websites daily as new cats come in all the time.Read More
