We spent over an hour at the specific location where it was spotted (in the above photo). The lovebird was responding to the sounds of other lovebirds. We could clearly hear him. He’s perched in a tree and many people were trying to help. It’s a terrific area but busy lots of people, birds of prey, and dogs. At dusk a fella arrived and stated he was the owner of the lovebird. The fella had been looking for him since Saturday going to every location where he had been spotted. We gave him a few suggestions and left shortly after. I really hope this little one makes its way to safety.

If anyone can capture it, it needs to go to animal services immediately to be seen by the avian vet. Also please post this to Lost and Found Birds Ontario and hopefully the owner sees it.

Doesn't anyone have an update on this bird? Please advise. I will be more than happy to take this bird's responsibility if no one has claimed it instead of sending it to a shelter. Please advise.
