Hey! This is a weird post. My boss was out on a walk with her dog at Riverdale park and found this bird around the stairs leading to the lower area. Bird looks to be a little tired, they tried securing the Parrot but it flew up high and they couldn't get it to come back down! Please reach out of you believe this is your Parrot! We both are reaching out to multiple communities online to see if we can rally anyone to secure it or to find the owner to come and try and secure it if it stays within that area.

Hey guys. Not appreciating the the rudeness. I'm not by the area my self personally or I would have secured it! The person who had spotted it and reached out to me. I live in the west end. When I asked them if they were able to secure it that is that I was given. I only assume because they were walking a dog that maybe the bird got spooked and was able to fly off from adrenaline. These people are also not bird knowledgeable and so they reached out to me to ask what to do. Of course I asked if they were able to secure it. First thing I would have tried too. My only assumption is that it's okay around people but not trusting of everybody. So instead of telling me what should have been done, how about we figure out how we can get this bird home. I don't see anyone else volunteering to try and capture it.
