Set-up a Scent Station outside, with the owner's dirty clothes/tie socks to trees, etc. Try grilling out, or cooking bacon with a window/door open. Post also to Nextdoor; Put an Ad in the local newspapers; check Craigslist. Post Lost Dog signs in the area lost & seen, (in a 5 mile radius); Give Flyers to neighbors/Mail and Delivery people; ask to please check under sheds, decks, etc. Report lost to area shelters; check often in person, if possible. Hope this helps to locate the lost pet!

I read an article that said that lost dogs go into survival mode - meaning they hide during the day and travel at night. Also - please try hanging out a recently worn piece of clothing with your scent on it. Hang it so your scent can be carried in the wind or on a breeze. Prayers.
