Christy James Gall I am animal control for the Boulder City Animal Shelter, near where the dog is missing here in Boulder City. Also I said if there is no microchip legally we only have to hold the dog for 5 days unless someone comes forward, but we are aware the dog is missing so that wont happen.

Do you have The Dog? Because you’re commenting on a lost dog, Post, you need to reach out to the owner? And for being so knowledgeable, you know you don’t adopt a dog out after five days you need to give an owner a good faith effort to find their dog. Only The Animal Foundation can adopt a dog out that fast.

Christy James Gall If the dog is chipped then we will call the owner, if not we hold for 5 days if nobody comes forward for him and we adopt out. We are very good at finding chips and contacting owners.
