It’s been 14 weeks since our sweet Sandy went missing/abandoned from his adopted home near East 28th Street and Holland in Erie, Pennsylvania. 🐾Place some dirty laundry outsid to e, go out shake it I treats, crack a can of catfood and tap it. Look at night with flashlight because their eyes glow. Check in sheds and under porches, decks ect. Talk to neighbors too, make sure they check their shelters . Might have to set a hav-a heart trap if he's that skittish. Might only come out at night. Sometimes if you leave part of your garage open they will sneak back in. Not sure if that's possible or if you have other animals. I've heard where the cat jumps back in a window. Flyers are VERY important too, someone may have taken him in or seen him. Not everyone is on Facebook-Let your post office delivery person know too in case they hear of someone or see him on the local route- check with neighbors, someone may have brought him in. It's a good idea to hang a sign from your mailbox "LOST CaT" in case they are looking for an owner. You can buy a cheap TASCo game camera at Walmart $29 with an SD card and set it up to see if you catch him near by. It surprisingly takes good pictures and is easy to set up- definitely do the dirty laundry and definitely do the tapping of the cat food can. These things really do help🐾🐾🐾don't lose hope. I've had strays remain elusive for over a year before they learn to trust again. They go into survival mode. Be vigilant about flyers, ask neighbors. 🚨 URGENT – MISSING CAT WITH MEDICAL NEEDS: SANDY 🚨 It has now been 11 weeks since Sandy went missing in Erie, PA. Sandy is a white and tabby male cat with a white tail tip. He is neutered, not microchipped, and was last seen wearing a white flea collar. Sandy has ongoing medical needs that require regular care and monitoring. His well-being depends on timely treatment, and we are increasingly concerned for his safety. Sandy was adopted through Ozzi’s Angels Animal Rescue, and since he went missing, we have made every possible effort to locate him and obtain updates. Despite emails, texts, calls, and certified letters, the adopters have not responded. We have even contacted their landlord and the individual who referred this couple for adoption, who has personally traveled to Erie multiple times, but no cooperation or information has been provided. This silence is devastating and unacceptable. Sandy is out there somewhere — and he needs medical attention and to be brought back to safety. 💔 If you are in or near Erie, PA, please keep an eye out for him.
