~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters…

Check rescues as well! Post fliers to vets, shelters, groomers, rescues around area, door to door. Tips: Lost cat leave something outside family scent Unlaundered, out of rain, tuna can feeding times and call, call dawn dusk day night. Shake food bag treat keep calling. Lost dog, Leave something outside unlaundered family scent out of rain. Fliers around area , door to door. Walk area calling shake food bag treat or toy. Check with animal control to see if any reported hit or deceased, and sanitation departments being they pick up deceased as well. We pray this is not the outcome but as an owner I would want to know.
