Message from Owner

🚨 LOST CAT – PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT 🐾 Our sweet fur-baby slipped out while we were feeding our outdoor cats. He is naturally feral, so he may be skittish and avoid people. This has happened twice within one week—once before and once after he was neutered—and each time he returned on his own. This time, however, he has not returned even for food. Because there is another male cat on the property, we believe this may be preventing him from coming close enough to be seen on our outdoor cameras. If you spot him at any time, please contact me immediately. Even a brief sighting helps. We are especially concerned due to coyote mating season and overnight temperatures dropping below freezing. ⚠️ Important: One of his ears is NOT clipped as part of a TNR program. The ear damage is from a previous survival injury, which is one of the reasons we are trying to bring him back indoors ASAP. 📍 Last seen near: Lake Tobesofkee 🗓️ Last seen: January 8, 2026 Thank you so much for keeping an eye out and helping us get him safely. ❤️

—Do Not leave out litter box. Leave out your fur baby’s blanket or bed. —Go to every business nearby and neighbor and ask them to check crawl spaces, bats, garages, sheds, under decks, etc. —Check water heater closet, behind oven or washing machine dryer etc - any space in your home a cat could get into —Flyer if they aren’t home. All over. —Posters. —They’re usually very close by unless they got chased. —Check up trees at night. ******❤️❤️ Dusk (and even night, but especially dusk) and Dawn - these are good times to sit outside and talk loud enough for pets to hear you, but without panic in your voice. Talk to yourself. Hum. A friend’s cat went missing and she almost gave up after 2 weeks. She was sitting outside on her front steps one early evening and just talking and singing, sleep deprived. Then she was talking to herself. Her cat walked right up to her. It can’t hurt. Hear mama’s or papa’s voice, without panic. —Put reward amount on flyer 🙏 —when you check for messages here, check “message requests” - usually 3 lines/bars or so to click to find that option.

Try a live trap, they are fairly cheap, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up and i did have to release squirrels and possums along the way which were easy. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. Make sure there's water too. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope
