Description

Black Cat with White spot on neck

Message from Owner

We have been combing the streets and alleys of West Allis for the past 2 & 1/2 days trying to find our beloved two-year old neutered male black cat Syrinx (notice the white spot on his neck). We rescued him (and his sibling brother) off the streets as 2 month old baby kitten strays, we did have him microchipped at the time, (and he was wearing a collar, although admittedly he should have been named Houdini, because he can get out of absolutely anything and goes thru collars on a regular basis). He is an indoor/outdoor cat, (out all night, in al day). He is small/muscular/stealthy, and could make his way out of the hse no matter what we tried. We are absolutely sick with worry about our baby, please, please PLEASE call us (even if you don't have him but have just seen him around your area). We (and his brother) can't live without our baby.

Cats can be very good hiders when scared. It took me a week of doing everything repeatedly. Then on one of my 3-5am searches when it’s quiet and deserted, I heard a faint meow and found her hiding behind bushes not far from home in a place I'd searched before. Don’t give up. I know of some cats that took weeks before they were found or came home.

Lost cats Search for him/ her using a flashlight. He/ she will be frightened and will hide. It also might not respond to your calling him/ her. A flashlight will reflect in the eyes, allowing you to see it in dark spaces. Use it day and night.

So sad. Bet he's not liking this heat and will be terrified of all the fireworks. Poor cat. 😢

Timothy Soto Timothy…You are 100% correct! Anytime a cat is left outdoors, something like this can happen. It’s always best to keep your cats indoors. Hope Syrinx is found safe…👍🏿😿😿😿
