Karen Elizabeth I have done this. I will note that one neighbor kept her for a day and a half, my son was looking everywhere until an another child told him they had her! I’m sorry but you don’t keep a cat with a collar on and not let the owner know. I have knocked on that house 3 times and they deny having her. Can I have your thoughts…I’m starting to give up. I only wish who ever has her is giving her the life I would have!

Weigand Erin I’ll look into that, but it’s been too long and I still buy fresh wet food and put it out for her.

If she is used to being OUTSIDE on her own… make sure to check inside everything that has been opened for a short time and then closed... your garage, your shed, totes, coolers, vehicles, etc. Then ask ALL your neighbors to check their garages, sheds, RV’s, etc. to make sure she isn't trapped somewhere. (THIS HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES WITH OUTSIDE CATS.) Give all your neighbors a flyer with a picture or description of your cat with your phone number in case they spot her. Post on www. Nextdoor .com and make sure to visit all your local shelters and animal control.
