🚨 LOST AFRICAN GREY PARROT — OAKVILLE 🚨 Our beloved African Grey parrot, Charlie, flew away this afternoon from the West Oak Trails area of Oakville. Charlie is a 14-year-old African Grey, mostly grey with a very distinct bright red tail. He is hand-raised, friendly and knows how to “step up.” He may be in West Oak Trails, Glen Abbey, Westmount, Bronte Creek, or another nearby neighbourhood. Please check your: • Backyards and decks • Trees, rooftops and fences • Areas under bushes or around sheds • The ground, as he may have become tired or overheated If you see Charlie, please approach him calmly and gently. Extend your hand and ask him to “step up” and bring him inside. Please do not chase him, throw a towel over him or try to grab him. He will likely be frightened and may be looking to people for help and shelter. Because it is very hot outside, please give him water immediately if he is found.
