My cat has been missing for three days, and my heart feels empty without her. I’ve been searching for her every day, even in the cold, calling her name and hoping she’s safe somewhere. I can’t stop thinking about whether she’s eaten, whether she’s warm, or if she’s scared and wondering why she hasn’t come yet. I’ve had her since she was a kitten. She isn’t just a pet—she’s family. Every night, she slept with me and my husband in our bed, purring softly, curled into our arms, or tucked between us when she was cold. When my husband left for work, she would always steal his side of the bed and sleep next to me. Sometimes she’d sleep on our heads, our chests, even our faces. I miss waking up to her purrs and hearing her meow when she wants attention or to be held. She is incredibly loving and friendly. She loves people, gets along well with dogs and other cats, and doesn’t have much of a danger sense—she trusts easily. At night, she’d play with her buddy, my sister’s husband’s cat, running through the hse, jumping on sleeping people, and causing chaos. When she ran, it sounded like a horse loose in the hse, and it always made us laugh. She’s a curious little troublemaker—jumping on tables, opening egg cartons, climbing curtains, and even jumping on my father while he slept. She loved sitting at the window watching the world outside and playing with the dogs in our . She followed people into the bathroom just to sit there and meow, like she needed to supervise everything. She also has a big personality and a bigger love for food—a total greedy goblin. She is short-haired, neutered, and microchipped. I miss playing with her toys. I miss her warmth, her noise, her presence. I miss my baby more than I can put into words. If you have seen her or find her, please call or text immediately, or bring her to the nearest animal shelter so they can scan her chip and contact me.

Try posting on Nextdoor, and please don't take advice to put her litter box outside. Litter attracts predators.

Is she spayed? Microchipped? Indoor only, or indoor/outdoor?

Indoor only cats are usually close to within 2-3 houses on any side , get a strong flashlight and look for eye reflection even in the day as they are masters of camouflage when in survival terrified mode…. Look thick shrubs , under sheds, etc remember wherever their head fits the whole body will fit …..go out safely at night , and in your normal “ kitty” voice, do what your cat knows….. shake treats? Open a can of food? A toy? What your cat knows so you can prove it’s really you as they will not trust that it is right now……HURRY

Leave some smelly treats outside with a shirt or towel. It will help direct her home. Good luck!
