Dianne Lathrum thanks so much. I will do this (food, litter) evening. but why the litter. won't other cats smell and use it. ?

Put her litterbox on the front porch along with an article of your clothing and her food. Get a bag of treats and walk through your neighborhood and shake it while gently calling her name. Crack a window open at night or your garage door in case shes close by. Put some sardines or mackerel on your porch. Its important to be vigilant at dusk and dawn because that's when they come out and are usually hiding close by because they are scared. Good luck.
