Call for him/her as often as possible or make a familiar noise that causes your fur baby to come running to you. My baby girl ran off when we first get her as a kitten (about a month later) and I was so scared she wouldn’t return. I called her name countless times in the tone she responded to. I did this throughout the apartment complex prior to buying a house, so I had less hope in her finding her way back, but never gave up. The next night I had the window cracked to hear if she came crying home and sure enough she was begging to come inside at our back door. It’s amazing how she learned so fast where she lived. We had a dog that loved her, so I’m sure the scent helped some. Don’t give up hope! I agree with the previous posts. Cats don’t go too far and it’s probably scared and cold, so keep trying to attract it with favorite food, noises, and an easy way to get in from the cold. Best wishes
