Look for him nearby. Indoor cats that escape are scared and will hide under cars, steps, decks, window wells, wood piles and firewood, etc. Go out and look for him at dusk and dawn. Call for him and use a flashlight to look under things. (Do a flyer and let all your neighbors know why you are looking under their shed or whatever.) Most often he will be within 100 feet of home. Bring his treats with you and shake the bag or container to attract hm. during the rest of the night leave some food out for him on your doorstep. Don't lose faith, he is close by and you can find him.
