Message from Owner

This baby doesn't know Apopka area at all, so he’s probably very scared & hungry. He may have started traveling away from the place he was lost as there is no food source for him, but could still be nearby. I really need help spotting & locating him, as I do not live near where he was lost (but I’ve spent many hours searching). He’s very cautious of new people, but he’s very sweet & will come up for food & to be petted if he feels safe (saying his name & talking in a soothing manner helps). He will not let strangers pick him up, but if you see him & can give him some cat food (he loves stinky, inexpensive canned food) to entice him to return so I can come get him, I would be so very grateful. Please private message me through his Pawboost listing with questions or information (or post on his Facebook listing that you have info). Please help get him back to me so I know he’s safe & can start sleeping again

Kimberly Player Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this tip! Unfortunately I don't live nearby & it's not my home he went missing from. Other than physically searching for him whenever I can, I really have to hope that someone will spot him soon.

Feather Morren Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this tip! Unfortunately this isn't an option - as I mention in my pawboost post, I don't live nearby & it's not my home he went missing from. Other than physically searching for him in surrounding areas whenever I can in the evening/night & talking to people in the area, I really have to hope that someone will spot him soon.

Try a live trap, they are fairly cheap, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up and i did have to release squirrels and possums along the way which were easy. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. Make sure there's water too. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope
