Brown/black tabby white fur spot on front neck, long & lean, looks very healthy shorthair

Cat has been coming around sporadically for the past few weeks, and stays longer each time bc food. Comes at twilight or late evening. Doesn’t appear feral but won’t get close enough for pets. No collar.

Local vet office including emergency vet or possibly police station can free scan for a microchip. If someone tries to claim, please ask for proof of ownership (vet records, description of the collar pet was found wearing, unique markings, of the pet - information that you have not already included in your post). Post on Nextdoor app, Ring app, neighborhood Facebook groups, lost pet groups, and check/create a PawBoost alert. Hang FOUND signs around the area in ziplock bags (zip on the bottom) to protect from rain.
