I’m hoping to get some help or guidance for a stray pup in our neighborhood. We moved here in December and first saw her when she was very young, but we weren’t sure if she belonged to someone. She disappeared for a while, but recently she’s been coming around again. She’s grown, very skinny, skittish, but also incredibly sweet and submissive. She clearly wants to trust people — it just takes her a moment to feel safe. My husband has been slowly gaining her trust by feeding her and giving her space, but unfortunately we’re only renting and already have two small dogs and a newborn, so we aren’t able to take her in. For now, we’re making sure she has food and water, especially with the heat. I’m posting to see if any rescues, fosters, or experienced community members might be able to help this little girl. She deserves a safe home and a chance. Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated.
