1. Join Paw Boost Alert and Next Door but talk to neighbors who may not be on social media.
2. If microchipped call the company.
3. Post flyers on neon colored poster paper and put in plastic zip lock bags.
4. Look under houses, porches, decks and bushes.
5. Look in garages, sheds, drain pipes and sewers .
6. Go out at night with a strong flash light to reflect on his eyes. Midnight- 6 am is best. Call calmly and take treats .
7. Set up outdoor camera to see if coming up about $35 Walmart
8. If coming up set a cat trap. Have-a-heart trap borrow from a cat rescue or buy at a tractor supply. Bait with canned mackerel or sardines. Put a tarp over the top part or dark towel not the ends so the cat can breathe.
9. Notify area shelters and go in person daily.
10. Indoor cats are usually hiding or stuck within 7 houses or 50 yards unless they hitched a ride.
11. Indoor cats can be tracked . Best to do within 14 days to pick up the scent.
