Found this lost male dog around 5am on 5/17. Very friendly with people and dogs. Has a collar but no tag. Black long fur, white and brown paws, white chest, docked tail If you know who his owner is please reach out!

This dog has been brought to the Lafayette Animal Shelter and Care Center. Unfortunately I couldnt keep him and haven't had any luck finding his owner. They are a no shelter and will have him on a stray hold for 3 days since he is not chipped. His ID # is 118935. Hes very sweet, good with people, large dogs, small dogs, and has clearly had some training so I'm still hopeful his owner is out there somewhere! If you have any info please give them a call!

Gosh.. .looks like a sheltie....or border collie...he super smart for sure. I grew up with a sheltie....and he saved my life when I was 11 yrs old....hope you can find his family...🙂

Blaine Cothern Williams thank you for the recommendation! Just took him there to check and he does not have a chip. The staff was very friendly though and even took my info in case someone comes in looking for him!

There are chip reading stations around town now. I know there is one outside the police station on University and Pinhook!
