If you have not done so yet, please report missing right away to local police, animal control, all shelters and veterinary offices in and around your area. Give all of them a photo and your contact info or a flyer. It's best to visit animal control and shelters in person if possible and ask to see the dogs being held. If you can’t go in person please contact them ASAP and provide a photo and contact information. CHECK BACK WITH ANIMAL CONTROL AND SHELTERS DAILY BECAUSE SOME SHELTERS ONLY HOLD STRAYS FOR A FEW DAYS, AND THEN THEY COULD BE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION.

You could put laundry with your scent on it and your dog’s bed outside to try to lure him home. You can also slowly walk or drive slowly around the neighborhood with a favorite squeaky toy, treats and smelly food he likes while calmly calling his name. Someone mentioned walking the same route daily for several days and their pet found them after a few days. This might work to find your dog! Talk to neighbors on your block and beyond to see if he's been spotted. Ask them to check their cameras and yards.
