MESSAGE FROM OWNER

I went out of town for a while and left my dogs with their "dad" my Ex at the time, and while I was gone he ended up in jail and someone else ended up with my baby's! I came back as soon as humanly possible and when I went to pick them up, they told me that they had rehomed them without my consent! I had just sent money for dog food. She knew I was coming back for them. So please please help me find my boys. And if you have them please. Baby dude is my emotional support animal... And tank is baby dudes emotional support buddy.. I have had them since they were taken from their mommas. My heart is so broken.

DESCRIPTION

I am missing both of my dogs. Tank is a Chihuahua who is tan and white with a blue collar and Baby dude is a blue heeler mix that is black and white with a black dot on the top of his head

Posted/pinned at the top of my page is a posting with tips to help find or return a dog. At this Facebook posting there are lots of links to other local Lost and Found Facebook pages to save you time and having to search for them, along with links to places to report found/lost pets. There's a video link on how to catch a loose and normally scared dog (e.g. calling their name – even by the owner - can send them running the other way if in survival mode, don't chase, etc.). There’s also a video link about putting out your dirty laundry so the dog can smell his way home. Dogs can smell up to 11 miles away. In the comments is a diagram of a wagon wheel showing how to lay out a scent trail leading back to your home …do this ASAP. There’s even a facial recognition link for lost and found pets. Plus, many more ideas to help.

Urgent I made this for Pet owners with specifics about using the ring doorbell app correctly so you don’t miss any details. “use the ring doorbell app it works like the next-door app which you should post your pet there also on the lost and found pets section. But ring doorbell app is free and called “Neighbors in the App Store” and you do not need to own the doorbell to use it. People post sightings of loose cats and dogs on their daily, as well as Lost and Found. Also go door-to-door asking neighbors to check their home security camera footage if your pet has been spotted you’ll know which direction the pets going and maybe your pet is already posted as found on there. When you load the app and join the community, it’s pretty large make sure your contact author and comments are turned on. Please list streets missing from. And in the settings, there’s a map to widen OR CHANGE your search area-DOESNT HAVE TO BE WHERE YOU LIVE. Praying that helps “

General Information: Get your scent out in front of your house - use dirty laundry to do this. Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the signs. Post signs all over as if someone spots your dog and there is no ID on him/her the person can contact you (for those not on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their Ring Camera (if applicable). Call the Animal Shelter in your area and tell them that your dog is missing in case someone is calling with a matching description. Ask if Animal Services has picked up your dog already. Go to the shelter in person. Prayers that your dog is found safely. Also there are scammers out there who claim to have your dog for a price - beware of these people.
