If he is an indoor outdoor kitty put flyers on neighbors porches asking them to check their property throughly. When outdoor cats go missing it is usually because they are trapped somewhere nearby. Look in garages, sheds, basements, crawl spaces, storm drains. Look on roofs and up in trees too. File a lost report with the shelter If he is scared, ill or injured, he will hide like an indoor only cat. So look with a flashlight even during the day under bushes, cars, porches and decks, anywhere he could be trapped inside and unable to return home! Make sure you reach out to neighbors asking to check security cameras too! . Make sure no one in your neighborhood is trapping cats. Hope you find him soon.

So pretty! ! If he is an indoor only cat , he is hiding very nearby. Put out her litter box and food and water and bedding. . Look with a flashlight for her even during the day. Look under bushes, decks, porches and cars. Anywhere she could hunker down and hide in or under. Cats don’t run away, they hide when outside. Put flyers on neighbors porches asking them to check their property throughly . File a lost report with with the shelter . Hope you find your kitty soon . Just don’t stop looking everywhere. Our daughters cat slipped out of the house and hid almost two weeks until we saw her on security cameras. We finally set a humane cat trap near her litter box and caught her within a few hours. Leave the porch light on and put out some tuna or smelly cat food where you can monitor from a distance. If he continues to hide, set the trap in the early morning hours picking up all outside food. You will find him, just don’t stop looking. Keep looking everywhere. Post on Nextdoor too!

There is a deceased cat on I880 South, on the shoulder of the exit only lane for Washington exit. It looks just like him. :( Same facial markings. He has been there for a few days.
