Message from Finder
Looking out kitchen window Good Friday morning and saw a pretty yellow bird hopping on our turf. I went to get camera and it was gone. THEN I saw it on window sill lying in a ball. I took some wild bird seed out and sprinkled it on the window sill and hoped the little thing would move. It DiD and started eating voraciously. I alerted Hubby and then I jumped in the car and raced to a pet store nearby and bought the smallest cage I could to store the little thing until we could find its owner. We have posted on Nextdoor and a kind person suggested I post on Pawboost. (Which I never heard of). We are an older couple and the only pets we planned on having any more were our flock of wild birds out back. (and a few pesky Squirrels). IF you are missing your parakeet we hope you will let us know.
