This gorgeous boy has been visiting us for months whatever the weather, daily for food originally and water. When he arrived he was skinny and we have fed and cared for him as best we can. We have advertised before on fbk pages but nobody has come forward. He is very timid around humans and other cats. It has taken us 3 months to build up his trust in us and allow even a stroke on his head whilst eating. But he is still very jumpy. He gets bullied by the other cats around here and we try and stop this and help him feel safe around our small area in Lindley, but we can't always get to do this. This will probably be making him more timid too. Although he is timid, he also likes to be around us, just likes the company from a distance, we think it's just to know someone is there. We do have theories about where he's come from, as around a year ago we think it was this kitty who used to be out and about in the area around the back of our hse, but then his owner and we don't think anyone looked after him after that. We didn't see him for a while until he started appearing at the top of the carpark at the front of our hse, if this is then same boy. We don't think he is chipped but we cant get close enough for him to let us use a chip monitor one of the rescues have lent us. When he has been injured in fights we have managed to care for with provided by vets in his food to help him recover. We do care for him and want him to be safe and warm as the temperatures are dropping and just want him to be okay. We work a lot with rescue cats ourselves and have our own. If you know of him please get in touch with us.
