Sabrina Jamil Aman unfortunately I’ve just gotten surgery so I’m unable to go searching for him 🥹 I’ve walked out on my porch and a little bit down the street playing his own songs and sounds, but I can’t go too far. I’ve posted him everywhere I can and have had some friends and neighbors keeping an eye out as well ❤️

I found mine by blasting loud cockatiel flock calls from YouTube in my car. First I used my phone but it wasn’t loud enough so I used my car’s audio and I heard him call me back from the tree in front of my house after 3 days. Sunny hasn’t gone far. He’s in the area hiding. Can you ask friends or family to help you search for him by playing flock calls in their cars and driving around your neighborhood ? Did you post on Nextdoor to notify your neighbors to look for him in the backyard trees? They can also play flock calls in case he responds to them. I have faith he’ll be found.

Valerie Costello I placed it outside yesterday with his favorite foods, fresh water and an unwashed tshirt of mine. I’ve also walked and driven around playing him singing.

Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
