Shared. If you have not yet done all these things do them ASAP, if you have do them again and go further in your search. Notify Mississauga Animal Services and check their website(s) for found cats. Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies in garages, sheds, basement etc., as cats often hide nearby when scared. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. If she's an unspayed female in heat she cna be chased by intact males and have trouble finding hers way back home. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for a day or two before searching for food. In case she is still nearby or comes around leave her used litter and some food and water in hidden places near the door she left NOW and check lthis evening. Alert local feral cat feeders who may spot her searching for food. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5+ block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make any loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.

Give all details of your cat to the local postal sorting office and also to your own postman/postwoman. Posties are great as they go everywhere and see all. Good luck 🐈‍⬛

.Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Maybe they could try putting flyers in the doors of the houses on the street around them asking people to keep an eye out. It draws their attention to the fact that she’s missing and not just an outdoor cat walking around. They can call or text with updates of sightings. . It worked twice for us over the years and many others have commented that it’s how they found their cat. Hope Candy is home soon ! 😊 I’ve also seen people comment to put their blanket or an article of worm clothing outside the door they left from so they can follow the scent back home.

She is likely bedding down with her babies. And God help her considering the coyotes we cohabitate with. You will need to have a team and physically search night and day!

Nancy Cavallin This poster applies to in-door only cats when they get out. While some ideas apply it is important to note that cats who are allowed to roam freely likely have wider physical search needs as they tend to increase their territory and behave differently.
