Use a have a heart trap. They work. My husband had one set up to catch a wood chuck and my cat just got out, got scared and ran in the trap. Make sure you share on next door so your neighbors will be alerted and also put up flyers

Set a cat trap asap with tuna on a plate, check trap often, ask neighbors to check sheds and garages, walk around late at night or early morning shake temptation treats and call his name and look under everything, put a piece of your clothing out with your scent on it outside, look for him when quiet outside after midnight that's when they tend to come home
