Description

Chihuahua white, big brown spot on back, brown on ears, very friendly normally, but might be scared. Call 4 3 4 - 4 0 9 - 8 6 6 6 or 9 1 9 - 4 9 1 - 2 6 3 0 [four three four four zero nine eight six six six / nine one nine four nine one two six three zero] Jake doesn't know the neighborhood. Try to coax him into a fenced yard or inside home. Will take treats from your hand and respond to his name, but when dogs are loose, they may not do that.

Jake's Owner Says

A woman in Forest Hills saw the post, called the owner, and was able to capture him! His son went to pick him up, and he got a away again! But he kept close by, running round and round, and eventually went right back into the woman's hse! From the owner: Jake is backhome. Thank you for getting the word out. And please tell everyone how grateful we are for their help!

I do lost pet recovery. These are my dog graphics. Dogs lost in unfamiliar territory will tend to circle back to the area lost if they're not pursued on foot or by car and not called by name. Owners can sing instead of call. Driving around is usually not productive as it spreads owners scent everywhere. Following the instructions for scent trails and calming signals will help. Be careful where you grill and don't pull them over a busy road. Signage gets you sightings. No one should follow and call. You can tell by mapping the sightings if dog is circling back.
