MESSAGE FROM OWNER

He means so much to us. Please help get him . We're willing to give a reward if anyone can get our boy back to us. We've been out searching for him all day and night, putting food out, etc. We just really need him to come . :( He is a grey striped tabby. Very big boy. Probably around 17 pounds. Big puffy cheeks. His eyes always look sad because of how they're shaped. He is very friendly, but may be scared being outside. Loves food and treats very much. Usually responds to the sound of a shaking treat bag or treat container , or the opening of a can of food.

Put his litter box outside, under cover, along with some really smelly cat food and some clothes you wore recently to attract him. Check carefully around the outside of your house and your neighbors’ houses. Cats don't usually go far initially and they can tuck themselves into unbelievably small and unusual spaces. One person found her cat hiding in the grill on her patio after searching for three days. Go out late at night when it's quiet and call him softly. Make large, easily read flyers and post them around your neighborhood with the cat’s picture and your contact info. Post a lost ad on nextdoor.com. Ask your neighbors to check garages, sheds, under decks - anywhere a cat can hide and get shut in. Borrow a trap from a shelter or vet. Don’t give up. Good luck!

We've actually been sleeping outside in our cars to try to find him. We've left out cat food, treats, extra smelly food (Tuna, chicken, wet food.) as well, put out clothing that smells like us, shaken treat containers and food bags, and taken turns sleeping so that we can better keep a lookout for him. Still nothing. :(

Put flyers on doors of your neighbors and telephone poles. Not just next door and across the street but a radius around your house maybe a couple streets over. Put info, on the Flyers including asking them to look in their sheds under their sheds under their decks or in any place that a cat might get trapped on their property. Talk to your neighbors. STAY SAFE!! You can ask businesses near you to put a sign up or put one by their register. Usually they're very helpful. Check with the Humane Society and other rescues. Also check websites for more kitties. Check with veterinary offices to see if anyone has brought in a kitty that looks like yours. STAY SAFE! A Humane trap is very helpful. It took a friend 2 weeks with a trap but she finally got her cat. I'm praying you find kitty!
