She is not chipped. She was also posted Saturday on the 219 page. Humane Society AND the animal hospital told me legally 72 hours. They also have my contact info in Case someone calls looking for her 🤎

Aw! It sounds like the person who found her HAS been looking for her owners. I think it’s wonderful that she’d love to keep her and give her a loving home if they can’t find her original owners. She could have been dumped. Better she’s in a new loving home rather than hanging out in a parking lot at a Dollar Tree store.

A dog cannot be “legally claimed” until it has been checked for a chip and then goes through a mandated probation period advised per guidelines from a local pet shelter!
