Stormy's Owner Says
🐾❤️ **STORMY IS SAFE AND HOME!** ❤️🐾 **Missing:** September 19, 2026 around 3 PM **Home Safe:** September 24, 2026 around 1 PM After nearly **5 long days**, almost **30 yard postings**, nonstop sharing, praying, searching, and checking shelters, Stormy was found about **50 miles away in Lancaster, Ohio — Fairfield County.** 🙏🏽❤️ We never gave up hope, and **God protected our girl through her entire journey.** 🚨 **MISSING PET SCAM WARNING** While she was missing, we received **3 scam calls/texts** claiming: • She was hit by a car and needed expensive surgery • Someone had her and planned to resell her • She was found lying along the side of the road ⚠️ **RED FLAGS:** Private/blocked calls, out-of-state numbers, naming a busy street near your location, demanding money urgently, threats, and even **AI-generated or edited photos of your pet.** **Never send money without proof.** Ask for a live video or a brand-new photo taken exactly how you request. If they claim to be a shelter or vet, call the official number yourself. 🐾 **WHAT WE LEARNED:** • Microchip your pets and keep information updated • Use an ID tag and GPS tracker • Put out their bed, blanket, favorite toy, or something with your scent • Post on **Pet FBI, PawBoost, Petco Love Lost**, lost-pet groups, and community pages • Turn on new-post notifications • **Check shelters DAILY and in person when possible** • Put up neighborhood signs • Search during quiet early-morning and late-night hours • Remember scared pets may go into **survival/flight mode** and travel much farther than expected • Use AI/photo-comparison tools to check possible matches ❤️ **DON’T GIVE UP HOPE.** It may take hours, days, or even weeks, but keep searching, sharing, checking shelters, praying, and keeping the faith. 🙏🏽🐾 **WELCOME HOME, STORMY!** 🐾🙏🏽 Thank you to everyone who prayed, shared, searched, and helped us bring attention to our baby girl. #StormyIsHome #NeverGiveUpHope #MissingDogFound #LostPetTips #PetScamWarning #MicrochipYourPets #LancasterOhio #FairfieldCountyOhio #FairfieldCountyAnimalShelter #GodIsGood
