I doubt it is lost. It may have been from a feral litter and lost it's mother or someone dropped it off. Between the heat and wild animals, it will not survive outdoors If you cannot keep it, please contact a rescue org like Cats-Can, Inc. They can find it a new home. If you are not willing to do that, let me know and I will take it and contact them.
