Sorry to hear. Near the dog park or one of the trailer parks? I keep kibble and water outside on my patio for strays. A large black cat was on my patio a couple nights ago, but not for long. It was dark outside, Not sure if male or female, or color of eyes. I'll reach out if if eyes are golden, and try to catch.

Go out late at night and early morning with wet food and sit. Check sheds and garages. Put bedding outside. Keep inside people are trapping and dumping cats
