Message from Owner

Please help us bring our little cat home. Pickles (7 lbs) lived on the streets prior to being sent to the shelter and adopted by our family. She is an indoor/outdoor cat who is adventurous but shy with people. She's never been gone overnight before so we think she was chased by a racoon and hurt or maybe stuck or trapped. Any kind neighbors willing to check their garages, under outdoor stairs and in yards would be greatly appreciated.

First put out a big bowl of water IMMEDIATELY. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, local rescue groups, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck! And please keep your kitty inside if you let it out!! Between coyotes, diseases, bad actors and cars, there are so many ways harm can come to them!!! Finally, if your kitty isn’t fixed, please spay/neuter!

Go check Vanderbilt Park as well. I would think you have but just suggesting. The weather is nice so she may have felt like wandering.
