Large adult German Shepherd (black and tan/sable coloring, full coat, no collar, not neutered)

Skittish and cautious around people, but eating and drinking when food is left out. He is becoming more comfortable with my neighbors and even let them pet him. Appears to be a stray or possibly abandoned—no chip info yet. Knew the command sit when offered food. With fireworks this weekend, we’re worried about him bolting. If you recognize him or have any leads, please reach out ASAP. Also connecting with GSD rescues and Long Beach Animal Care Services in the meantime.
