So sorry your kitty is missing. Here is what you need to do you right away- on your front porch or wherever he/she got out set up a covered feeding station. Put out food and bowl of fresh water and a blanket or shirt that smells like you at the door they escaped from( no food during the day) In the evening about 7 pm put out some canned food or whatever food he/she ate along with the water and blanket or shirt. Call to the cat by name and go inside - resist the urge to try to grab him if you see him come to eat- just observe patiently and see if he comes- it may be a few days. In the morning pick up any food and just leave the fresh water. They usually do not go very far and most likely are under a shed or deck closely. DO NOT put litter box outside- some people will tell you to do that but it will attract any stray cats around and may push your cat away from the area. Also place flyers around your area with your cell phone number and answer all calls in case someone sees him and keep your cell charged and with you at all times. You can even watch from a window in evening and leave door slightly open and he/she may come in. Good luck. It may be a few days so don’t give up. Check all shelters and humane society and post flyers all over in plastic sheet protectors with waterproof tape. I would also strongly urge you to contact Dogs Finding Dogs to track your cat- they do an amazing job and can track exactly where the cat is hiding. https://www.facebook.com/DogsFindingDogs (410) 908-6374 http://largcares.org/?fbclid=IwAR1qVZfhUTbzzRm-RqvVSHfdZNqnc9RohssoAQktcEEDHc_HqTfu37WyuAw Also: in late evening go out and shake a bag of dry food and sit down quietly and listens for faint meows. Also. Check with all your neighbors as cats can get in open doors of sheds and open doors of garages and then get locked in and can't return. Good luck. It's likely she hasn't gone far and is just hiding because she's scared. Do try putting out her litter box. Cats are nocturnal and move around more at night. You might want to sit out and watch for her in the evening after dark.

Put out his litter box, smelly food, pieces of your clothing. Make a chum trail with used litter or wet food in a gallon of warm water. Check consistently garages, sheds, basements, secluded spots, under porches and vehicles. One of mine ( indoor) hid 5 days in a neighbor's basement. Had looked there several times. Go out at night with a flashlight and call him. Go repeatedly, especially late at night. Get a humane trap. Alert shelters, rescue groups, groups that feed feral colonies, vets. Prayers he is soon home and safely INSIDE.

Put up flyers everywhere asap. It will help a lot. Be sure to tell people to take a picture of the flyer so they’ll have your phone number too. Also people put their dirty laundry outside for the scent of home
