Laurie Parry yes, some of us citizens have been advocating for a new shelter for quite awhile now. We are not giving up. Some City and County leaders are seeing what they can do to make it happen. Unfortunately, not close enough for anything to happen as quick as needed. Continuing to push for it and low cost vaccines, spay and neuter.

Laurie Parry there is no huge SPCA shelter in Waxahachie. The SPCA pulled out and closed it down last year. Just have the old Waxahachie 1970s city shelter off Howard Rd next to sewer plant. They can check City of Waxahachie Animal Services Red Oak Animal Care and Control City of Midlothian shelter and Tri-City. Citizens of Waxahachie should not be trying to sneak found pets into other cities by lying and saying found there However, it has been happening and the latest story of that ended up very tragic outcome for a family.

Be sure to notify that huge SPCA shelter in Waxahachie -- and notify local police / vet clinics / and other shelters -- post on Nextdoor .com / the Ring app / and PetFBi .org -- all are FREE -- notify microchip company, because pets lose collars and tags
