Description

Tortie, black calico with white tip on the end of her tail. She would have came to shelter with a small 3 month old grey tabby kitten.

Message from Owner

She was taken out of my hse on 1/7/26 and would have went into shelter as a stray cat. . She would have been with a small grey tabby kitten just 3 months old. Please help me find her and bring her . While she sits in a shelter waiting, she already has someone who loves her. I just don't know which intake shelter in Indianapolis, In., that she was dropped off at.

If she was picked up it would be Indianapolis Animal Care Services on Harding. Unless someone took her to Humane Society of Hamilton County or Humane Society on Michigan road!

Try a live trap, they are fairly cheap, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up and i did have to release squirrels and possums along the way which were easy. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. Make sure there's water too. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope
