Black with short hair, a white spot on his chest and on his stomach, a clip out of his left ear, and two small white spots on two of his back right paw.

Message from Owner

Pumpkin escaped from our new apmt only 2 weeks after we moved, he pulled a the sliding screen of a window aside while I was away and I'm worried he's not familiar with the area and won't be able to easily find his way home! He's a very shy and easily scared cat, if he feels cornered he will run and has climbed a 4 story tall tree to escape before. Please let me know if you see him out and about!

Maureen Brennan Thanks for sharing your advice! Cat rescue experts now . This is because it can attract aggressive Tom cats and other predators (dogs, coyotes etc), which can chase the cat that you are trying to find away. The reason that cats bury their waste is so that they cover up their scent to predators. Instead, it is now recommended to put outside the door that the cat exited from some unlaundered clothing from the owner such as socks or a shirt. The owner's scent will attract their cat.
