Coco the senior Chihuahua has been found😃! She was trotting down the sidewalk towards the house like she just had the best morning after (she’s spayed btw)! My dad and I were actually on our way out the door to go to search shelters🙃!! Thank you to all who shared the post and gave me some tips on how to help her find her way home. Besides me walking up and down the sidewalk last night and this morning singing her name, I had her bedding outside and would like to think that helped too 😁. *Side note: Beware of scammers! We had one person reach out via text from 318-739-3026, who said they had Coco and even showed a picture! It looked kinda AI since it looked too good to be Coco (my girl is almost 90 in dog years)! We agreed to meet, but then came the “reward” talk and “how much is MY reward”, when i questioned to see Coco in person and tried to call person they refused to pick up, “text only” and told me “I guess you don’t want your dog…you wasted my time” and “I guess you want me to sell your dog to someone who’ll pay”! Yeah good luck selling a toothless, partially blind senior dog! The nerve🤬! I googled the phone number and saw another post from a woman in Georgia who also lost a dog and was almost scammed with same phone number and scam tactic😤. Please be careful, there are evil people out there playing on people’s emotional vulnerabilities while you’re searching for your fur baby. Good luck to all🤞🏽

~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… Someone may have him thinking he was abandoned… Someone may have a camera that captured something… Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… If the dog is microchipped, call the company ASAP … Report you animal missing to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters.
