Hey guys! I didn’t know how to respond back to everyone because I was getting these messages through the email, but I figured it out! To answer some questions I do believe he was someone’s pet. He was really sweet getting into the crate. He just walked in himself with a little bit of an nudge. He has eaten and had bowel movements. He isn’t chipped. Luckily, I found an amazing rescue who is going to take him and care for him in her habitat! I believe she will keep him. She has been inspected by the DNR and is certified. He’s just a big puppy! I was so scared at first he just roamed into the garage while the kids were playing ping-pong 🤣

Beautiful red tegu. Was it fairly docile and easy to catch? There is becoming an issue with “wild” (released pets) tegus becoming invasive.

Please don’t just give him to anyone… please require proof that they are good experienced owners. So many horrific stories of abuse from evil monsters!!!
