She/he could easily have ventured further than normal from being scared off from either prey or loud noises pushing her/him away from where it’s familiar. Try going outside their usual perimeter and placing things that smell of home (like shreds of a blanket or shirt, or vacuum bag contents) trailing back to your area that she/he knows.

I think poster means deaf, not dead. 😬 And saw an update saying she is home. Sure hope poster keeps her indoors! Deaf and age 18 does not mix well with being outdoors!! 😡

Check the Mississauga Animal Services website- found pets section, in case she’s found and turned in to their shelter. Put up posters all over the neighbourhood. Go out and walk the area at night while calling for her and shaking a bag of treats. They usually aren’t too far from home. Good luck!

Contact microchip company first then the closest animal shelter to you. I hope he's home safe fast.
