Kay Jonesit does actually have claws, I misread the situation. I was sitting and petting the cat and at one point it grabbed my hand and did some playful kicky feet at my wrist but the claws were just retracted at that point, they came out later when we tried to get it into a carrier to scan it.

Matthew and I have deduced that this little one was on a walk. They had a flea collar and knew it’s way through a path that lead to a hole in a fence. The neighbors also said they see this one one out and about often. Thanks everyone for caring and Matthew for posting just in case!

Yes please add ur cross streets. This cat looks pretty scruffy. Since it’s friendly can u or a neighbor take indoors esp since it’s declawed and has no means to defend itself. If u got a carrier any clinic can scan for a chip. If u dont please keep overnight in ur garage. post on Nextdoor. Tomorrow if there is no owner you can call dispatch 608-255-2345 and they can scan for a chip and take to the humane soc
