Message from Owner

I am absolutely gutted. Our brand new little rescue, Sadie managed to find a weak spot in our backyard fence and escaped yesterday morning. My next door neighbor spotted her hightailing it down a side street as she was leaving her hse and was able to relay to me but she darted in between two hses at the end of the Ridgevale Drive culdesac (Cincinnati, OH). By the time I caught up with her, she'd disappeared somewhere along the creek bed ... no clue if she went left/right or straight across. We have an amazing neighborhood ... so many people came out to help us look for her for hours (multiple shifts) ... we put up flyers ... alerted the Mail carrier, UPS, Kroger delivery drivers, and anyone we came across. I alerted ASPCA, local police, our local groomers, and called the Rescue and her Foster mom, who came with her dog and helped look. She's wearing her collar and name tag with the Rescue's phone number embossed in it. And she was wearing a pale blue & white camou hoodie. We've walked/driven around our entire subdivision, and the adjacent one on the other side of the creek, too. Unfortunately, numerous lawns were being mowed in the early afternoon that I'm sure only frightened her more. Richard and another great neighbor walked up and down the creek bed and checked culverts, etc. ... and it rained for a few hours this morning though there was a little break and I walked around looking for her at day-break. The Director of the Rescue told us that Puppy Mill Mamas do have this tendency to look for escapes from new environments... and advised that due to their skittish behavior, it's helpful if you can, to not try to chase after them... but rather, to sit and talk to them to hopefully, coax them to you ... and then try to let them smell youe hand and not make any sudden movements ... they'll bolt. Please help us get her back safe n'sound.

Hi ... you've commented about this twice now. If you live in Hamilton, OH then this couldn't possibly be my missing dog. If this assumption isn't correct? -reply back with more information as to where this sighting is, please.

Karla Foster they don’t volunteer you have to pay for the service, which is a fine because they find a lot of pets.

No other sightings ... and worse? -it's been raining the last couple of days which impedes the use of heat-seeking drones and trackers. In our neighborhood email chat we're asking that folks check under their porches, decks, sheds, or any other potential hidey-holes she could be in.
